Benedict House and Shop
located at 57 Rockwell Road in Ridgefield, CT, this building was constructed in 1740. This building was one of the oldest surviving structures in the community, a rare example of a cobbler’s workshop back in the 19th century. It was also listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 4, 1998.
Weir Farm National Historical Park
a place for commemorating the life and work of the American Impressionist painter J. Alden Weir. It is dedicated to visual arts together with Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park. Weir Farm is currently running a “Take Part in Art” program wherein visitors can create their own works on site.
Branchville Railroad Tenement
a historic commercial and residential building in Ridgefield, Connecticut, at the intersection of Portland Avenue and West Branchville Road. It was built in stages between 1853 and 1905 and serves as a distinct reminder of the area’s railroad-related history, serving as housing for railroad workers before being converted for residential and commercial uses. On August 12, 1982, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

formerly known as the Cashman House, this house was made with a Colonial style. It is located at 11 Barlow Mountain Road in Ridgefield. The house has maintained its original layout and features over the years after it was built about 1735. Thomas Hyatt House was considered one of the city’s oldest and most well-preserved houses.
